Audi Rs 6 Saloon: A Day To Day Supercar

Audi has revealed its RS 6 saloon, so it describes being an ‘everyday supercar’.

Operated by a 572bhp V10 gas engine with 479lb foot of tugging power, it travels from -62mph in 4.5 secs and it has a restricted top speed of 155mph, although this is often elevated to 174mph being an option.

The engine is related to some six-speed automatic gear box, which changes gear in a single-tenth of the second.

The ride and handling are enhanced with a new system known as Dynamic Ride Control, which may be occur three positions: sport, dynamic and luxury.

The soundness control system continues to be established to kick-in after on the standard road vehicle and may also be set to Sport mode or turned off entirely when the driver wishes.

The RS 6 sits on 20-inch alloys and uprated steel brakes in the standard vehicle. High-performance ceramic brakes may also be specified.

Styling features that differentiate the vehicle in the standard model include air intakes, flared wings, a rear diffuser and 2 oblong exhausts.

Standard equipment includes sports seats, dual-zone air-disadvantage, front and back parking sensors, a sports controls along with a Bose CD player.

Options include sportier bucket seats, a lane-assist system that warns should you drift between lanes, side assist that warns you of potential hazards in blind spots, and adaptive cruise control, that keeps a continuing distance towards the vehicle ahead. Bluetooth integration can also be available.

The RS6 saloon continues purchase in mid-October, with prices still to become introduced.
